GTM RESEARCH RESERVE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER WORKSHOP - FREE
--Teaching on the Estuary--

PONTE VEDRA BEACH-The GTM Research Reserve is offering a FREE Teacher Workshop for Elementary School Teachers from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on August 9th. This workshop is for teachers who would like to bring school groups to the GTM Research Reserve for a field trip or teachers who would like to gain more knowledge and materials to lead estuarine and marine based hands on activities in the classroom. This training is REQUIRED for all elementary teachers of non Second or Fourth Grade levels who are interested in a field trip experience to the GTM Research Reserve. Each instructor will have the opportunity to choose a hands on activity to use in their classroom. All materials & curriculum will be provided! The workshop will be held at the reserve’s Environmental Education Center located at 505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach FL 32082. Registration is required.
